KARL STORZ is seeking a
DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
to drive innovation in cutting-edge medical technology. Karl Storz is always at the forefront of progress and is dedicated to creating industry-leading technology. You will have access to our Tallinn factory's state-of-the-art test lab and brand-new verification lab, equipped with top-notch technology. You will be part of the Opto Mechanical Engineering Global team.
Your Mission
- Design and assembly of single-use medical devices
- Participating in various international projects as a mechanical engineer
- Product design using SolidWorks CAD software (including drawings and 3D models)
- Participating in product design testing
- Collaborating with production engineers to introduce new products into production
- Participating in patent research
- Participating in the process of risk analysis creation
Your Talent
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Plastics Engineering, Medical Technology or similar education
- Previous experience in designing single-use products
- Ability to design injection moulded plastic details
- Good understanding of operations in a standards-regulated field
- Fluent English language
- Willingness to travel for business a few times per year
- Knowledge of mechatronics is beneficial
- German and Estonian language skills are beneficial
- Innovative thinker: Constantly looking for new and better ways to approach tasks and solve problems.
- Collaborative: Working well in a team setting, communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues.
